We are committed to helping students and adults alike draw closer to Christ by encouraging them to do 3 things:

Discover Truth
We share the transformative power of the Gospel.

Build Friendships
We create lasting relationships that serve to encourage God's people.

Enjoy Creation
We get outside and soak in the beauty of God's world.

West Central Christian Service Camp was founded in 1960 in La Monte, Missouri by a group of local churches within the Restoration Movement. Today, West Central's mission is supported by a network of churches across the greater MO-KAN area.

What
We
Believe

Here's a brief overview of the biblical truth that we believe and teach

Who is God?

The God of the Bible is the supreme creator/ruler of the universe.
God would otherwise be unimaginable to us, except that He made Himself known to us in human form through Jesus Christ.
Through Holy Spirit, God lives within His followers and guides us.

How Do I find God?

God loves us and wants us to have a relationship with Him.
God's forgiveness through Jesus is the only way to have a relationship with God.
God's forgiveness is accepted through faith in Jesus Christ, an experience categorized by a person's confession, baptism (by immersion), and continued dedication to Jesus's way of life.

Who are we?

God created everything and each of us.
Although we live in a broken world and are ourselves broken, God is at work in our world and in our lives.
Our bodies, and what we do with them, matter to God greatly.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER DEATH?

Death is the end, and also a beginning.
After death, everyone will be judged by God's standard.

What does that Mean for Us?

We are most fulfilled as we draw closer to God.
We draw closer to God by serving others according to Jesus's example.
God reveals Himself to us through the Bible, a collection of 66 books written by humans and inspired by Him.
Because of this, it is meant for the Bible to be the ultimate authority in our lives.
