West Central Christian Service Camp is sponsored by 30-35 independent Christian Churches in western Missouri and eastern Kansas.

West Central opened in 1960 and hosted just 58 students our first year.  In the years since, we have now served nearly 25,000 students of all ages ranging from grades K-12.  Each summer, we are hosts to approximately 450 students through 8 weeks of camp.  West Central continues to stay on the front lines of bringing the gospel to the youth each year.

Outside of the camp season, we serve as hosts and sponsors for many retreats and other events in the "Off Season" (Sept-April).

Though sponsored by Christian Churches, our camp is open to children of ALL faiths.  West Central has on-site Camp Managers and are governed by a Board of Directors selected from several of our member churches.
​The ministry of West Central Christian Service Camp is to glorify God in all things by providing Biblical education and worship, Christian fellowship, and avenues of service for today's youth in a safe, loving, Christ-centered environment.

Each year we host 8 weeks of camp during the Summer season for students of all ages.  These weeks consist of approximately 450 students coming in contact with the life story of Jesus.  The gospel is heard.  Decisions are made. Lives are changed forever; they are changed for eternity.

Our mission is to continue spreading the Gospel to students.  Not only are students hearing the story of Jesus at West Central but they are taking it to the ends of the Earth as well through mission trips, life commitments, and through the discipling of others.
