Bryton Koch, Camp Manager
Bryton in February 2026
Bryton Koch joined West Central's staff in March 2026. Both he and his wife grew up in the Kansas City area before moving to La Monte for Bryton's position at the camp. Between his work experience and his service as a lay-leader in the church, Bryton has a fiery passion for God's Word, and experience in heating/cooling, teaching, audio/visual technology, and commercial maintenance. Before becoming camp manager, Bryton was an HVAC technician, as well as an instructor for Metropolitan Community College's trades school.
In 2023, Bryton began prayerfully considering the desire to enter into ministry. After years of prayer (and graciously-provided training within his home church), he heard God's call to West Central Christian Service Camp, and he answered! Bryton grew up attending West Central, so he has an appreciation of the camp's legacy, but he also has a deep desire to see the camp follow the Lord's direction, wherever it leads!
As camp manager, Bryton wears many hats for the camp (literally, he loves hats), from repairman, to social-media manager, to housekeeping, and so much more. But he certainly is not a one-man-army. By design, Bryton submits joyfully to the leadership of West Central's board of directors.
