The West Central Christian Service Camp Board consists of men and women from the surrounding and/or supporting Christian Church/Church of Christ congregations, each demonstrating exemplary lives​ in their walk with Christ, personal discernment, reputation, and willingness to further the mission of West Central Christian Service Camp. ​

Robert Deuel

Robert has been the Minister at Cedar Grove Christian Church since 2016; prior to that, he served as Assistant Minister from 2011. Before sitting on the board, Robert was a dean at WCCSC. 

As a former bus-kid and then "Timothy" of Pleasant View Church of Christ, Cassopolis, MI, Robert believes that all kids should have an opportunity to attend church and church camp to hear the calling of the Lord on their hearts.

I have served on the board of West Central Christian Service Camp for approximately 30 years, holding a variety of roles over that time. My professional background includes a 40-year career as a Telecommunications Engineering Manager before retiring.


Throughout my life, I’ve remained committed to supporting ministries that bring children closer to Christ and help them discover and develop their God-given gifts in service to Jesus. It is my mission and joy to see young lives transformed by His love.

Hello, my name is Ronnie Snider, husband to my wife, Krystal Snider, and father of 4 girls and 1 boy. I work next door to WCCS at ShowMe Christian Youth Home as a house parent. Every summer, I look forward to seeing kids at the camp next door running around, screaming, having a great time, and then knowing Christ is at the center of it all, I wanted to be a part of that community. I am honored to serve WCCS as a board member and I look forward to seeing the Spirit move and grow this community.

Krista Smith Buford, originally from LaMonte, is a member of Mt. Zion Christian Church. She worked for 15 years at Show-Me Christian Youth Home, later becoming a manager at WCCSC for 3 years. Krista brings a strong background in Christian service, leadership, and community involvement to her role on the board.
